The CB8-R CAN Bus Interface is a versatile multi output device for obtaining vehicle speed pulse (VSS), engine speed, illumination*, reverse gear* andhandbrake* signals from most CAN Bus equipped vehicles. It can also detect ignition switched status on some vehicles to provide an ignition switched feed of up to 2 amps*. *Dependant on vehicle configuration.
The CB8-R is compatible with 40 vehicle manufactures covering 250+ different models, including the New Vauxhall Insignia, Renault Laguna Mk3, SAE J1939

Function
Function
The Hunter CAN Bus interface is designed to provide a vehicle speed signal for vehicles using a CANBus system. It is programmed to automatically detect the vehicle type and it will give a frequency output of approximately 1Hz per mph.
